Getting to the 2007 TXIH

If you need to be picked up from the airport and taken to the campground, please contact mismanagement and give us your travel itinerary so we can make the necessary arrangements


The airport to fly into is George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). The campground is just to the north of the airport. Hobby Airport is not recommended because it is more than 60 miles south of the campground. We are not arranging for pick up from Hobby. Please plan accordingly.


By Car

The following directions are easy and direct. There are shortcuts and more convoluted ways to get to the campsite, but that is left to the individual driver. Google the following address to get specific directions from your location: 3043 Waukegen Rd. Cut N Shoot, TX 77306. Be careful when driving through Conroe on Hwy 105. The local cops and county sheriffs will be more than happy to stop y’ all for going over the speed limit, open container and/or driving under the influence.


At the intersection of Loop 336 and Hwy 105 there are gas stations, convenience stores, Mc Donald's, Sonic and Jack in the Box. Great place to stock up on ice, mixers, munchies, condoms, etc.


Driving Directions from Houston, Galveston and Airport

  • Take I-45 North and exit Loop 336.
  • Go East on Loop 336 until you come to Hwy 105. Make a right at the intersection.
  • Go East on Hwy 105 for approximately 3 miles to the second flashing caution light and turn right (South) on Waukegan Road
  • Go approximately a ½ mile and Country Place RV Park is on the left.

Driving Directions from San Antonio, El Paso and points west

  • Take I-10 East and exit Sam Houston Tollway North.
  • Take the Sam Houston Tollway and Exit I-45 North. The toll for this part of the road is $2.50 (2 toll booths - $1.25 ea.). Make sure you have exact change (coins) or you will wait in line for the manned booths.
  • Take I-45 North and exit Loop 336.
  • Go East on Loop 336 until you come to Hwy 105. Make a right at the intersection.
  • Go East on Hwy 105 for approximately 3 miles to the second flashing caution light and turn right (South) on Waukegan Road
  • Go approximately a ½ mile and Country Place RV Park is on the left.

Driving Directions from Corpus Christi and the Valley

  • Take US 59 East and exit Sam Houston Tollway North.
  • Take the Sam Houston Tollway and Exit I-45 North. The toll for this part of the road is $3.75 (3 toll booths - $1.25 ea.). Make sure you have exact change (coins) or you will wait in line for the manned booths.
  • Take I-45 North and exit Loop 336.
  • Go East on Loop 336 until you come to Hwy 105. Make a right at the intersection.
  • Go East on Hwy 105 for approximately 3 miles to the second flashing caution light and turn right (South) on Waukegan Road
  • Go approximately a ½ mile and Country Place RV Park is on the left.

Driving Directions from Dallas/Ft. Worth and points north

  • Take I-45 South and exit Hwy 105 in Conroe.
  • Go East on Hwy 105 for approximately 7.5 miles to the second flashing caution light and turn right (South) on Waukegan Road
  • Go approximately a ½ mile and Country Place RV Park is on the left.

Driving Directions from Austin, Brenham, eATMe and Hill Country

  • Take US 290 East and exit Sam Houston Tollway North.
  • Take Sam Houston Tollway East and Exit I-45 North. The toll for this part of the road is $1.25. Make sure you have exact change (coins) or you will wait in line for the manned booths.
  • Take I-45 North and exit Loop 336.
  • Go East on Loop 336 until you come to Hwy 105. Make a right at the intersection.
  • Go East on Hwy 105 for approximately 3 miles to the second flashing caution light and turn right (South) on Waukegan Road
  • Go approximately a ½ mile and Country Place RV Park is on the left.
  • As an alternative Hwy 105 can be taken going east from either Brenham or College Station. A little slower but you get to see the towns of Plantersville and Magnolia.

Driving Directions from New Orleans, Baton Rouge and points east

  • Take I-10 West and exit I-45 North.
  • Take I-45 North and exit Loop 336.
  • Go East on Loop 336 until you come to Hwy 105. Make a right at the intersection.
  • Go East on Hwy 105 for approximately 3 miles to the second flashing caution light and turn right (South) on Waukegan Road
  • Go approximately a ½ mile and Country Place RV Park is on the left.
